What we did

We developed and structured the Aromatic Hybrid Rice of America (AHRA) project to address the increasing reliance of the U.S. on imported aromatic rice varieties such as Jasmine and Basmati. We designed a comprehensive model that integrates hybrid rice technology with production, processing, and marketing to position the U.S. as a competitive producer of high-quality aromatic rice for both domestic and global markets.
